I always love a wedding when two cultures and backgrounds collide into a beautiful, unique event that is even better than you could have imagined. With Nataliya and Nathan, I got to capture my very first Mexicranian wedding. Mexicranian you ask? Yes, I just made that up. Nathan comes from a Mexican heritage and brought along a few cultural aspects to the day, and Nataliya brought along a few of those traditions from her Ukranian background. The combination was better than you could have imagined and gave the wedding a unique flare that was fun no matter what your background was!
We started off the day at a beautiful Mountain home near the Cliffs as Nataliya got ready for the day’s events. With an absolutely stunning dress and plenty of gorgeous details, Nataliya looked absolutely stunning. When everyone was ready, we all headed up to the Cliffs at Glassy chapel for their first look before their wedding ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful and had a few of the unique Mexicranian touches from both sides of the aisle. Soon after we took some photos as the sun set over the blue ridge mountains, before heading to the nearby Cliffs Mountain Park Cabin for their reception. The fireplaces inside the cabin set the perfect ambiance for their reception, which was warm, intricately decorated, and filled with plenty of great moments. It all ended in a sparkler exit as Nataliya and Nathan headed off into the night in their traditional Ukranian outfits.
Thanks again guys!! It was an honor!
