It’s hard to believe how much the wedding world has changed in just the past few weeks. With many weddings on the books for the spring all getting postponed, I knew Cassidy and Chase’s weddings would be one of the last I would get the chance to photograph for a long time. Luckily it was beautiful send-off for my short-lived spring wedding season.
We started the day with Cassidy getting ready at Willow Creek Plantation in Landrum, SC. It was a perfect spring day, with just the faintest of leaves starting to appear on the trees, and color starting to emerge from its winter slumber. We decided to use the beautiful Cliffs at Glassy Chapel for some photos with the bridal party and for the backdrop of Cassidy and Chase’s first look before the wedding ceremony. We climbed all around the mountain and captured lots of great moments before it was time to drive back down the mountain for their ceremony and reception. Located right by a covered bridge, waterfall, and gazebo, their ceremony took everyone back in time. Shortly afterward, everyone headed to the pavilion for the wedding reception. Lots of dancing, great food, and a beautiful sparkler exit finished off the night!
Thanks again guys!! It was a blast!
