As a wedding photographer, I am privileged to witness and capture the most precious moments of couples’ lives. Cheri and Jon’s summer wedding was an absolute delight to be a part of, as their love story unfolded against the breathtaking backdrop of Pretty Place Chapel and the elegant setting of the Greenville Country Club. The two day celebration was a perfect blend of natural beauty, heartfelt emotions, and unforgettable surprises, culminating in a mesmerizing firework display that illuminated the night sky.

Nestled high in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Pretty Place Chapel is a venue like no other. Its open-air design and panoramic views make it a paradise for photographers and a dream come true for couples seeking a romantic setting for their vows. Cheri and Jon’s choice of venue reflected their love for nature and was extra special as Jon went to camp at Pretty Place and used to sleep on the pews that the guests were now sitting in.

As the sun painted the sky with warm hues, Cheri descended the chapel’s stone steps with an aura of grace. Her flowing gown and delicate bouquet perfectly complemented the natural beauty that surrounded her. Jon awaited her at the altar, his eyes gleaming with anticipation and love. Every glance, every touch, and every smile between the couple was a moment of pure authenticity that I had the honor of preserving.

Following the heartwarming ceremony, the celebration continued at the Greenville Country Club the following evening. Its timeless charm provided a stunning canvas for capturing the joyous festivities. The ballroom was transformed into a dreamlike atmosphere, adorned with beautiful floral arrangements and plenty of room to party! The Clemson tiger even made an appearance as the dancing kicked off!

As the wedding reception was winding down, the guests were all ushered to the back deck for a big surprise. The sky erupted in a spectacular display of fireworks. The vibrant colors and shimmering lights mirrored the sparks of love that Cheri and Jon shared. The couple’s faces lit up with awe as they gazed at the night sky, and I was there to capture their genuine reactions, ensuring that this breathtaking moment would be cherished forever.
