My jaw pretty much hit the floor the more and more they talked about their wedding. So how many people will you be having at your wedding I asked, she replied… “Just you, and well, the minister for the ceremony.” We were to show up at Song Hill Reserve around 3pm to scout for a great location for the ceremony, then we would go up to the house to get some shots of Marirose getting her dress on, then come down for the ceremony, spend the next couple hours taking pictures, have a picnic, drink some wine, eat some cheese, and then take some more photos and have fun until the sun sets. I feel like I just hit the wedding photography jackpot.

Song Hill Reserve is located just on the border of South Carolina and North Carolina, right at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Landrum, SC. It’s got some great mountain views, a small pond, a pavilion for receptions, and just basically serves as the perfect backdrop for a outside, natural wedding. With lots of time for some photos we got to experiment with some new things, and really just have a lot of fun celebrating such an awesome occasion.
