To pull off a wedding these days it takes a lot of work. You can’t be too detail oriented because then you will miss the overall big picture, and you absolutely can’t forget about the little stuff as well. Being one of those detail oriented brides, Kristen thought of everything. Armed with spreadsheets for everything, this fellow ex Upstate New Yorker went as far as to place helpful things in the bathrooms including aspirin, cough drops, Listerine, eye drops, and even band-aids incase things got really out of control. Personalized gifts for every bridal party and close family members. Details all perfectly arranged when I got to the hotel room. I think most of this is hardwired into her personality but I’m sure she also gets this from being friends with several top-notch wedding planners.

Those wedding planner friends did come in handy later in the night when they let us have an exclusive chance to shoot inside of the absolutely stunning Peace Center in downtown Greenville. It was supposed to be more of a surprise present to the Bride and Groom, but I think it was more of a present to me. I think I would have shot the entire night in there if I had the chance.

Stepping back from the details of the wedding still left all the important big picture things that make great weddings such a blast to attend: Loving family and friends, great music and food, and of course a very loving… and very excited to be married bride and groom.
