Alright… confession time. I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with big bridal parties. I mean it’s awesome to have lots of your closest friends around you on your wedding day, but I’ve been to weddings where it just slows everything down, can be awkward if no one knows each other, and drama is 100% more likely to sky rocket. But then I’ve been to weddings like Anna and Joe’s, where even though they have a pretty big bridal party, it just works… and works very well. Awkward moments get turned into funny situations, toasts get turned in to rap songs (yes this happened!), and everyone pitches in to help the bride and groom have the time of their lives.

Joe and Anna got married at Messiah Lutheran Church in Mauldin, SC with their reception in Gray Court at the Alder House. Although it’s bitter sweet that the Alder House Plantation won’t be doing weddings anymore, it didn’t put a damper on things at all. With a stunning outdoor reception Joe and Anna danced the night away under the stars, surrounded by their closest friends, family, and bridal party.
