Ballantyne Country Club Wedding Vow Renewal | Melissa and Troy - Greenville SC Wedding Photographer

Deb and I first met Melissa when we were meeting with her for her daughter Maggie’s wedding. With Melissa being a photographer herself, we just clicked but unfortunately, the dates we had left for the year just didn’t work out. We were upset, but were hopeful that our paths would cross again.

Fast forward a couple years and Melissa messaged me telling me that her and Troy were going to celebrate 30 years together with a beautiful wedding vow renewal at Ballantyne Country Club in Charlotte, NC. This time the dates did work out, and we were soon there to capture the day for them. Melissa and her beautiful daughters, and granddaughter were there to help her get ready before doing a first look with Troy, so we could take all the photos beforehand. Shortly after, during their vow renewal, it was apparent just how much impact their marriage has had on their family and friends. Their children sang their praises and labeled them the “perfect example of a marriage.” And even after 30 years, they still know how to have a good time, exiting down the aisle to their favorite 80’s rock music! Shortly after in the Ballantyne Country Club ballroom, their reception took place with plenty of details from their original wedding day, hundreds of photos, and plenty of great dancing and food.
