It’s crazy to think that after photographing over 50 weddings up at the Cliffs, I’ve never gotten to capture a tented reception on the back lawn of the Glassy Clubhouse! Well, Kylie and Drew’s wedding definitely didn’t disappoint. Held under a luminescent clear top tent and filled to the brim with beautiful decor, it was the perfect backdrop for their wedding reception. Of course, having a beautiful and fun-loving bride and handsome groom never hurts the photos as well!
We started the day with Kylie getting ready at a nearby home. After some quick details and getting ready photos we headed up to the beautiful Cliffs at Glassy Mountain Chapel for their ceremony. Officiated by their uncle, the ceremony was filled plenty of hilarious moments as well as an absolutely stunning rendition of the Lord’s Prayer, sung by one of their guests. Afterward, we climbed to the top of Glassy Mountain to capture some photos of the bridal party as the sun set past the edge of the blue ridge mountains. Just a short drive down from the chapel, it was time to kick off the reception celebration. The tent filled with applause as the bridal party was announced in and Kylie and Drew had their first dance. Soon the party was in full swing as the sounds of the Punch Band got everyone dancing! The evening even ended in a sparkler exit lead by the Clemson tiger!
Thanks again guys!! It was a blast!
