Sometimes the weather forecast doesn’t always go as planned on a wedding day, but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice having a lot of fun, enjoying beautiful scenery, or even creating amazing photos. It just means everyone will need to get a bit more creative with things, and sometimes that can lead to even better outcomes than you imagined in the first place. This was certainly the case with Arisa and Daniel’s wedding at Hawksdene in Andrews, NC last week.
We started off with Arisa and her bridesmaids getting ready for the day in one of the rental cottages there at Hawksdene. With light rain falling almost all day, we found a few beautiful nooks around the property to make some beautiful images before the ceremony under the pavilion. With just their most intimate family and friends present, you could tell everyone felt extremely special to be there that day as Arisa and Daniel said their vowes. Shortly after, we did some more quick photos before the reception started. With a roaring fire, a few kegs of local beer, and some delicious food, it was a cozy night filled with dancing, hilarious toasts, and sparklers. Afterward, we even snuck out as the lights got dark to make some absolutely amazing photos in the rain. You have to see these!
Thanks again for having me guys!!
