There are those weddings I show up to where I’m just meeting the bride and groom for the first time. Then there are those weddings where I show up and it’s like seeing an old friend again. While it’s definitely fun and sometimes a little surprising to meet someone for the first time on their wedding day, I think it’s awesome to come in already knowing the person. And I’ve had lots of time to get to know Amanda and Chad. Between our gorgeous engagement session last year, seeing them at other weddings, facebooking, and constructing a very impressive 58 message long email-chain, it was awesome seeing them again in Charlotte for their wedding day.

Amanda and Chad got married at the gorgeous Cedarwood Country Club just south of downtown Charlotte, NC. With a close knit group of family and friends surrounding them, they tied the knot overlooking the country club and Charlotte skyline. Then the dancing started. And it was awesome. With one of my favorite DJ companies on hand, the party didn’t let up at all, and it was great reconnecting with a few past brides and grooms we had shot a couple years before. Congrats again!
