I have to say that I’ve been looking forward to Katie and Kyle’s wedding since the second they got engaged. Literally. I was that creepy photographer in the bushes that captured that very second Kyle got on his knee and proposed to Katie underneath the Liberty Bridge in Falls Park in downtown Greenville. Shortly after they asked if I would shoot their wedding at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in Maryland. Naturally, it didn’t say long for me to say… YES!
Fast forward a year and a half when Debra and I started off the day in their parent’s beautiful home as Katie and her energetic bridesmaids celebrated and got ready for the day’s festivities. I knew it was going to be an exciting day as soon as her closest friends popped the third bottle of champagne popped along with a barrage of confetti. After a quick stop over to check up on the guys, we headed over to the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club where Katie put on her dress. It was all tears of joy after that as Katie walked out onto the rooftop deck overlooking the Chesapeake Bay toward a very emotional Kyle. An absolutely stunning sunset permeated their reception space as they made their grand entrance into their first dance. The evening then unfolded into a mix of great food, touching speeches, and hilarious dancing until the sparklers were lit to light up their exit into the moonlit night.
Thanks again for having us guys! It was an absolute pleasure!!
