This is the one! To say I was looking forward to capturing John and Nicole’s wedding would be a huge understatement. I’ve know John for years, where I worked with him at my former employer, Michelin. We would chat back and forth about him and Nicole getting more and more serious, and even when we was thinking of proposing. That day finally came and I hid in the bushes to capture that moment at Furman Chapel. Nicole was so surprised and excited, and I knew these guys were going to embark on something special. We started talking early on about the wedding plans, as I was one of the very first people they booked after setting the date early last year. The stage was set for plenty of anticipation, especially after they booked many of my favorite vendors!
Fast forward a year and a half to this past weekend, when I showed up at Furman chapel to capture John and Nicole finishing up getting ready. Everyone was looking great, and the weather held out perfectly! After their beautiful ceremony at the Furman Chapel in the middle of Furman’s campus, we explored all around many of the same spots we did after their proposal the year before. With a beautiful reception planned in the Westin’s Poinsett Ballroom, we were excited to get to the party. Complete with colorful uplighting, tasteful centerpieces, and the dance floor front and center, I knew it was going to be a fun night at the Westin. I have to say, it didn’t disappoint!
Thanks again guys!! I had a blast!
