A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Abby and Joseph’s wedding at the Viewpoint at Buckhorn Creek just outside of Greenville, SC. From the moment I arrived at the charming venue, excitement filled the air as preparations were underway for a day that would forever be etched in their hearts.

The ceremony was held in a picturesque garden, surrounded by vibrant flower blooms and lush greenery. As Abby, the stunning bride, made her grand entrance, Joseph couldn’t help but get emotional. With Abby’s gorgeous gown and radiant smile, everyone was stunned.

Joseph stood tall and proud at the altar, awaiting his bride. His eyes sparkled with a mixture of nervousness and sheer adoration as he watched Abby make her way towards him.

As the ceremony commenced, I discreetly moved around, capturing the intimate moments—the gentle exchange of vows, the tearful glances, and the subtle touches that spoke volumes. Following the ceremony, we used the stunning scenery (and a horse or two!) to make some incredible images.

The reception took place at Viewpoint at Buckhorn Creek under a nearby tent adorned with beautiful blue and white decor and fragrant floral arrangements. The speeches and formal dances were heartfelt, leaving not a dry eye in the room, especially since Abby sang her father/daughter dance song herself. I was honored to capture these genuine moments of raw emotion, preserving them for eternity in photographs that would tell the story of their love for generations to come.

As the night wore on, the dance floor came alive with vibrant energy and infectious laughter. Friends and family swirled in a joyous celebration, their happiness reflecting the union of two souls deeply in love.

As the evening drew to a close, I found myself reflecting on the incredible privilege it was to witness and capture such a beautiful love story. Abby and Joseph had created a day that was as magical as the fairy tales they had dreamed of, and it was an honor to be a part of their journey. As I packed up my equipment, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of fulfillment. The photographs I had taken would serve as a tangible reminder of a love so pure, a day so enchanting, and a couple so undeniably meant for each other.
