To say Heather and Brandon’s wedding was “unique” just wouldn’t do it justice. Let me explain.

To start off Heather and Brandon were married on a very unconventional night; a night usually reserved for dressing up and going around to collect candy. With a distinctly Hollywood twist, guests dressed up in their best attire and gathered for some pre-ceremony cocktail drinks, including their signature drinks: “New Blood” and “True Blood” – A delicious mix of Vodka, Triple Sec, and Blood Orange Juice. In the middle of the room was a long red carpet, which everyone gathered alongside to watch Heather’s grand entrance. What happened next was one part fashion runway and one part wedding, as Heather paraded down the long red carpet to meet Brandon. A quick but emotional ceremony later, we headed for some quick photos and the dance party started. After breaking for a few toasts, the cutting of the cake, everyone was back on the dance floor for plenty of outrageous dancing before the night wrapped up. I have to admit, after typing all this, the whole thing sounds a bit crazy, but it was incredible how much everyone embraced the theme and really enjoyed the unique twist on something that can sometimes be an uptight tradition.

 

Thank you Heather and Brandon for trying something new and original and choosing me to be there to capture it. It was definitely an incredible experience!
