Aileen was equal parts excited an nervous as she got ready at the Hyatt Place in Downtown Greenville. Today was her wedding, and she was about to see her bridesmaids and family for the first time as a bride. After some fun photos around downtown we headed over to the stunning Prince of Peace Catholic Church for the ceremony. The grand architecture and beautiful light streaming through the sanctuary created an incredibly elegant atmosphere as Aileen walked down the isle toward Jonathan. He couldn’t hold back the tears of excitement and joy of seeing Aileen for the first time in her wedding dress. Capturing the raw emotion of their ceremony against such a majestic, traditional setting was a photographer’s dream.

After they said “I do,” we took advantage of downtown Greenville’s historic charm for their portrait session around Larkin’s L. The transition from the timeless elegance of the church to the vibrant, urban feel of the city gave their wedding gallery a fantastic variety of backdrops. The couple looked completely effortless and radiant as we walked around and took photos with their lively bridal party.

The celebration continued at The L, Larkin’s premier downtown event space. The venue’s modern, industrial-chic aesthetic paired perfectly with the spectacular food and hospitality that Larkin’s is known for. Aileen, Jonathan, and their wonderful guests danced the night away under the beautifully draped fabric, capping off a truly spectacular evening of great wine, delicious food, and incredible company.
