I don’t think I have ever seen two people more excited to be back in the US. You see, Natasha and Sam met working together while in Ghana. Natasha had a opportunity to stay there and work for a few more months, but something just didn’t feel right. Sam and Natasha flew back to the US. Little did they know just four days after they landed in South Carolina, President Trump signed the controversial travel ban, and Ghana was one of the countries affected. They had made it just in time!
Grateful to be here in South Carolina, they told me all about their world travels and fascinating backgrounds. We then started talking about their wedding, which was going to be at a new event venue here in Greenville called Revel. I had heard great things about Revel and loved the sneak peaks I had seen online of the space. It wasn’t going to be a huge wedding since Sam was originally from Syria. With a good portion of his family still in Syria, that meant they were on the ban list and wouldn’t be able to make it. Luckily there is this new thing called Facebook Live, and they had someone there to stream the entire wedding at Revel live to all the people that couldn’t make it.
It was a beautiful wedding. Revel was lit up with rustic chandeliers and some very artistic woodworking. The guys looked great, and Natasha looked even better wearing her mother’s wedding dress and grandmother’s necklace. Plenty of great moments, dancing and food filled the night as everyone celebrated Natasha and Sam. At the end of the night everyone gathered just outside Revel for their sparkler exit. A beautiful finish to an incredibly blessed and grateful couple!
Thanks again guys!!
