I’m still trying to wrap my brain around all the amazing things we got to see, taste, and experience last month in Europe. Seriously, it was one of the best trips of my life and definitely one that will shape my outlook on life going forward.
We spent 19 days touring around Italy, Greece, Turkey, and the small island country of Malta. We went to 11 different locations including Rome, Naples, Sorrento, Valletta, Athens, Mykonos, Ephesus, Santorini, Rhodes, Olympia, and finally, Venice. We got to ride donkey’s up the cliff at Santorini, have lunch with some of our videographer friends in Athens, run in the same stadium as the first Olympians did, see where the Pope lives, try some Mediterranean octopus, walk the same roads as Paul did in Ephesus, and meet up with Debra’s Greek grandfather in Mykonos.
Besides it being an incredibly eye opening lesson on culture, it also put me right in the middle of some of the most beautiful artwork, architecture, and natural surroundings available in the world. Inspiration overload. And lucky for you I lugged my Nikon D4 along to capture it. Enjoy!
