This past year was definitely one of the most diverse and surprising years I’ve ever experienced. I mean I had some ideas and goals for 2015, but I certainly had no clue how crazy and exciting 2016 would be. We traveled to Mexico, got ranked one of the Top 10 Wedding Photographers in the US, toured almost the entire west coast of the US in a bright red convertible, bought a 12-acre winery & vineyard, left my day job, inherited five goats, and photographed 38 incredible weddings all over the east coast. If that isn’t a crazy year I don’t know what is.
It was definitely a record year in photography. I pressed that shutter button nearly 120,000 times this past year, putting me very close to the 1,000,000 photo milestone since I first picked up a camera 10 years ago. Boiling this past year’s photos down to just 100 wasn’t an easy task, but it was hugely necessary in order to condense all of the stories, memories, and emotion behind the photos into something that can fit into a blog post. A huge thank you goes out to all my excellent couples who trusted me to be there to capture their weddings this past year. You really made my job one of the most fun out there. Without further ado, here are 100 of my favorite photos of 2015:
Here’s to 2015! Thanks again to all our incredible couples! I can’t wait to see what 2016 brings!
