I absolutely loved every minute of Katherine and Nate’s wedding, from all the super nerdy handmade details to the outrageously hilarious dancefloor moments at the reception – it was one of those weddings I won’t ever forget. Katherine, being an Podiatric surgeon, and Nate, being a rocket scientist, combined both of their loves to create an ocean-going intergalactic wedding complete with 3d printed centerpieces, Star-trek pins for the guys, plenty of glowing stars, and even a cake with a rocket ship on it!
We started off at the Westin Poinsett, where everyone got ready for the day. Shortly after we did a first look and spent the next hour or so laughing our way all around falls park before a limo picked us up and brought us to the Old Cigar Warehouse for the ceremony. Surrounded by tons of handmade touches, a perfectly timed star wars entrance song played in the background as Katherine walked down the aisle to her groom. Plenty of tears, poetic writing, and kisses highlighted there ceremony. Everyone then headed to a cocktail hour on the patio of the Old Cigar Warehouse before plenty of great food, dancing, toasts, cake, popsicles, donuts, and singing made for an amazingly fun reception. You have to see this one!
Thanks again guys!! I will always treasure my 3d printed whale tale!
