What a gorgeous spring we have been having so far this year! I guess we earned it after such a cold winter and rainy summer last year, which probably also makes it feel even better than it really is. Either way, this is my absolute favorite time of year. And Heather and Joe got married on my favorite weekend of the year. Why is that? Because we also got married the same weekend just two years ago.

Their day was absolutely stunning. Standing up in front of all their family and friends with picturesque views of the blue ridge mountains rolling behind them, it was hard not to be excited. They were getting married, with or without a very pesky veil which tried to steal the show during the ceremony. After an emotional ceremony, a small cake meltdown, some very personal speeches were made, and the party started… and didn’t die down all night. Partying under the gorgeous lights and decor of the Crest Center, it was the perfect start for Heather and Joe’s life together.
