It always amazes me how many amazing unique places there are to get married in the Upstate of South Carolina. After 11 years, you would think I have seen them all! After driving past the entrance of Willow Creek Plantation many times before, I had been curious to what it looked like beyond the long winding entry. It was incredible! Complete with a historic covered bridge, mill, cottages, waterfalls, pavilion, and gorgeous main house, this place is an amazing piece of history and served as the perfect backdrop for Crystal and Leonard’s wedding.
We met up at Willow Creek Plantation on an absolutely beautiful fall day last week. The anticipation built as everyone got ready for the day, and Crystal and Leonard had their first look. After some fun photos around the Plantation, we headed up to the icon Cliffs at Glassy chapel for their sunset ceremony. After that we headed back to Willow Creek for quite an amazing reception. Seeing as they met swing dancing, I was naturally very excited to see their first dance. I have to say it didn’t disappoint! Plenty of fast twirls, fancy footwork, and super low dips, it was a blast to watch and photograph. Soon after, everyone was dancing as the evening went on into the night! It all ended with a beautiful sparkler exit into a vintage ford convertible. You have to see this one!
Thanks again guys!!
