I love weddings where two completely different family cultures get together and just completely mesh. Kim grew up in Georgetown, SC, and Amir was born in Iran, and although he lived mostly in the US, you could definitely tell they weren’t from the same background. With Amir’s family coming from all over the world, it was exciting to see them explain their traditions, and us southerners to explain ours.
The wedding was held at Mary’s Falls Cottage overlooking the famous Falls Park that revitalized much of downtown Greenville, SC. We started off with an emotional first look, so we could take care of many of the photos before the sunset. Afterwards we went into their ceremony on the patio overlooking the bridge. A few family photos later and everyone was enjoying cocktail hour as the sunset over the gardens. With plenty of great dancing and speeches, the night finished with a beautiful sparkler laced exit! Thanks again guys!!
