It all started out like a typical engagement session, taking some photos around the beautiful Jones Gap State Park and learning some more about each other. When we saw a nearby waterfall on a map only 0.8 miles away, we figured it would be a fun little hike to get some more photos. Well, that 0.8 mile hike turned into about 5 miles. Just when we thought we were almost there, the trail would turn and soon it didn’t make sense to turn back. We finally made it a couple hours later, and I have to say the Rainbow Falls were quite the amazing site, even if it took almost every ounce of energy to drag my camera gear all the way there. Note to self: Read maps more closely next time!
