It was a cool spring evening. Deb and I were on a walk around River Mist, our sublime suburban subdivision (SSS). We were talking about our days when all of sudden the thought popped in my head, “Why don’t we shoot an engagement session in our subdivision!” I then proceeded to ramble on for the next 20 minutes about how the trees behind our house would be a stunning backdrop, that the dogs next door wouldn’t be a problem, and that the hills would create beautiful silhouettes at sunset. She finally agreed. And just last week we did it. A full engagement shoot just a few hundred feet from our home.
Of course it takes an open minded couple to trust someone enough to shoot some of their best engaged moments in… their photographer’s backyard. And that’s where Amber and Ryan step in. They love to hike, they love to explore new things, and they love to have an awesome time with each other. Best of all they are crazy in love with each other, and they can’t help but let it shine though to the outside. It doesn’t matter if its after a long day at work or in a normal looking neighborhood in the middle of Suburbia.
Thanks again guys! Looking forward to the wedding next year!
