By all accounts 2016 was an incredible year. We photographed more weddings than ever before, were name 2016 Wedding Photographer of the Year by NACE, and got to travel to some incredible places in between. From several mountaintop cliffs weddings, to a wedding overlooking the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, from rainy day weddings that turned out great, to an enchanting night garden wedding, and even a wedding with a light saber send-off! It was also a huge year for me personally (if you haven’t read the full story you can check it out here). Leaving my full time job to pursue photography more fully turned out to be a great decision and I can’t imagine going back.

I am incredibly grateful for all the trusting couples that allowed me to take the next steps this year: both artistically and personally. It was truly a landmark year, and I cannot wait for what 2017 has to bring! Until then, here’s a quick look back at a very incredible 2016. Cheers!!
